Path to Salvation

Realize you are a Sinner. Face it. We have all blown it. The mark is perfection and we have all failed. We need a Savior.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 (NKJV) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 (NKJV)

Recognize God has provided a solution for our failure, our sin. He sent His Son to die on the cross for us, for you. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 (NKJV) Repent of your sins. “Repent” means to turn away from or change direction. We need to be sorry enough for our sins to turn away from the things that do not please God and turn toward the things that do.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord Acts 3:19 (NKJV) Receive Jesus as your personal Lord and savior. Just like you do not clean up to take a shower do not try to clean yourself up before you decide to come to Him. He receives us just as we are, then begins to change us as we submit to Him in obedience. He gives us a fresh start when we yield our lives to Him.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (NKJV) that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9–10 (NKJV) Remain in Him. Becoming a Christian is not a an event. It is a continually growing changed life. Also the best decision you will ever make.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:4–5(NKJV)

Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 1 John 2:3–6 (NKJV)

What we believe

That there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this true God created all, upholds all, and governs all. that the SCRIPTURES of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully and verbally inspired without error in any way in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice. in GOD THE FATHER, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

In JESUS CHRIST, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people and personal, visible return to earth. in the HOLY SPIRIT, Who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ; we believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide; we believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit. that all PEOPLE are sinners by nature and choice and, therefore, are under condemnation; that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord; that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer with the Holy Spirit and power for service, often subsequent to regeneration. in the universal CHURCH, the living spiritual body, of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons are members. that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ORDINANCES to the Church: 1) baptism, and 2) the Lord’s Supper; we practice baptism by immersion and communion open to all true believers.

Calvary Chapel

Calvary Chapel Billings is a part of the Calvary Chapel church movement and is a non-denominational movement focused on the inerrancy of the Bible and the expository teaching of the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation. It is our conviction that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.

Our Goal

We endeavor to remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship. We give a great place to music in our worship, desiring that our worship of the Lord to be inspirational. Additionally, our services are designed with great emphasis upon teaching the Word of God that He might instruct us how He should be worshiped. It is our desire that His love in and through our lives be the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshiping Him.

Calvary Chapel Billings

CC Billings began as a home fellowship January 5th, 1995 and began meeting as a church body on Sunday March 5th of that same year. We met in two different rented facilities until July of 2005 when we purchased the property known as the Shiloh Barn of 48th Street West. We invite you to come and worship with us. Come as you are; come with an open heart and may the Lord richly bless you.
